Indiana has just about every type of landscape aside from tall mountains and dry deserts. My favorite Indiana Landscapes include barn scenes. Run down, dilapidated, antique, rustic barns of Indiana are full of character. In Northern Indiana we also have the University of Notre Dame campus to paint.
I love the unpredictability and uncontrolled nature of watercolor. I feel it is the most exciting and expressive medium of all. Its ability to wander from mastery to complete lack of control during the course of a painting make it one of the most engaging mediums.
Below are a few of my portrait paintings and illustrations. Whether you are looking for a portrait of your husband or wife, girlfriend, mistress (just kidding… but it is none of my business), children, pets or even bridal portraits, I enjoy painting them all.
